It has been used in vapour trap for determining atmospheric water vapour for isotopic analysis. It was also used in solid phase microextraction (SPME) combined with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) method during the determination of the oxidation of freeze-dried chicken myofibrils spiked with methyl linoleate.
