Anions in Soil - PT is a solids/soils hazardous waste inorganics proficiency testing material, suitable for testing the concentration of anionic analytes in soil samples.

Our soil PT samples behave as real samples; and, unless there is no alternative, are not simply spikes added to a blank soil. They are designed to meet the requirements of national, regional and state-specific accreditation bodies (TNI, USEPA, UKAS) for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Description

• All analytes are present in their acid (water soluble) form.
• A total sample size of 30 g is provided.
• The PT sample has been sterilized.
• Recommended storage condition is room temperature.
• The evaluation of results will be based on study statistics for equivalent methods.

• The soil is to be extracted and analyzed using an appropriate extraction and analytical method for bromide, chloride, fluoride, nitrate as N, nitrite as N, phosphate as P and sulfate.
• Mix well.
• No modification to the sample prior to sub-sampling is necessary.
• Please list the determinative technique used for analysis of this sample.
• Report your results as mg/Kg on a dry weight basis.
• Do not correct the analytical results for matrix spike recovery bias.
• If multiple methods are used for preparation and/or analysis, a separate report form must be used for each preparation and analysis method.
