Solids in Soil - PT is a soil/hazardous waste proficiency testing material, suitable for testing percent moisture, fixed solids, total solids (TS) and volatile solids in soil samples. Our soil PT samples behave as real samples; and, unless there is no alternative, are not simply spikes added to a blank soil. They are designed to meet the requirements of national, regional and state-specific accreditation bodies (TNI, USEPA, UKAS) for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Description

• The sample size provided is 100 g of soil.
• The PT sample has been sized to 100 mesh.
• Mix prior to use. No modification to the sample prior to subsampling is necessary.
• The recommended minimum sample size for moisture determination is 1 g.
• Report as Wt% solids, example 91.5 Wt%.
• Refer to Standard Method 2540 G for the description of reportable analytes.
